MOLLY Marsh is about to become Love Island’s romantic lead, leaving her career as a fairy, mermaid and evil queen behind her.
The actress has a string of roles in pantomime on her CV and our exclusive pictures offer a first look at the Yorkshire lass treading the boards.

Molly has revealed she was understudy to EastEnders’ star Rita Simons as the Evil Queen in Sleeping Beauty
She played the fairy in Snow White at Middleton Arena, Manchester last year.
And in 2020, she played a mermaid in Peter Pan at Derby.

Molly said: “It was nice to actually have a little relationship with Rita and have rehearsal days with her.
“I’d kind of go ‘please don’t be off because I don’t know the script well enough yet’. And she was like, ‘babe don’t worry, I’ve got your back, I’ll be on every day unless something drastic happens.’
“I’ve done a few pantos now but I loved playing The Fairy because the audience love you and you get to save the day.”
Performing runs in Molly’s blood as her mum Janet is an actress who has appeared on a handful of episodes of Corrie and a number of other shows.
Molly, 21 from Doncaster, added: “My whole family is so encouraging. They know I love the show and they’re excited for me to hopefully go and find the one.
“Imagine meeting the guy in there that I’m gonna spend the rest of my life with, that’s the dream!”
Molly will check into the villa tomorrow to begin filming ahead of the launch show on Monday night.
