A newspaper clipping from the Charred remains of a fire confirms that he is not due to die anytime soon, although many believe that he already is.
His tuberculoma was a falsification.
The doctor that informed him of his fate, is in fact, a Nazi who runs circles with Sir Oswald Mosley and Diana Mitford.
Tommy ends up confronting him, and we see the pair exchange words, but it does not end up in death battle like we would have expected.
It appears like the head of the Shelby clan has become a changed man.
The episode finished with Tommy’s caravan set on fire as instructed, with signals a new chapter for his life ahead as he goes off into the distance.
