What is the Love Island postcard on Casa Amor?
Tonight’s (July 28) Love Island promises to be full of drama after the girls are given a sneak peek into some of the action going on in Casa Amor.
At the end of the show on July 27, 2021, a preview aired showing Chloe Burrows waking to find that the producers had left the girls a very special delivery.
The 25-year-old marketing exec was shown clapping a hand to her mouth and shouting “oh my, no f***ing way!”
The boys left the main villa for Casa Amor on Monday, July 26, episode, where they were joined by six new girls, all hoping to nab a spot in the main villa. The girls have also been joined by six new lads.
The contents of the postcard are yet to be revealed to viewers, but if Chloe’s gobsmacked reaction is anything to go by, it looks likely to send shock-waves through the villa.
Who has had a postcard delivered to them in Casa Amor before?
Although the Love Island girls and boys usually have no contact during Casa Amor, it’s not the first time the producers have decided to give the girls a hint of what might be going on behind their backs.
The trick was used during the first ever outing of Casa Amor during season three, when a postcard landed in the main villa.
It showed a number of the boys lying in bed with bombshells, and Kem Cetinay kissing Chyna Ellis.
Once Kem returned to the main villa, however, he reunited with previous partner Amber Davies. Together, they would go on to win the show.
Back in season four, the girls received a video message from the other villa.
Controversially, it showed Jack Fincham reacting to the arrival of his ex-girlfriend Ellie Jones in the new villa, leaving his partner Dani Dyer in hysterics and Ofcom flooded with complaints.
But Jack ended up staying loyal to Dani, and the pair went on to win their series by the biggest landslide in the show’s history.
When is Love Island next on TV and how can I watch it?
Viewers won’t have to wait long to watch the fallout, as the show is back on tonight (July 28) at 9pm on ITV2.
Fans can also watch live or catch up on past episodes over on the ITV Hub.
The show airs on ITV2 from Sunday-Friday with Unseen Bits broadcast on Saturday nights.
