X FACTOR’S Wagner entertained millions with his big personality and outlandish performances during his run on the seventh series of the show back in 2010.
The 64-year-old star, who is currently retired, has been enjoying family life since the show and still makes the odd appearances at events.
Since X Factor, the former PE teacher from Brazil has never had the need to return to his old profession because public appearances and sponsorships continue to make Wagner a steady living.
In 2017, Wagner told This Morning that he was the proud father of a three-year-old daughter and five-year-old son, so fatherhood must definitely be keeping the entertainer busy when he’s not working.
Plus in recent years Wagner has taken to encouraging his fans to get in touch with him via his official Facebook page.
He takes orders for custom made videos, and all you need to do is drop him a message.
They don’t break the bank either. If you want him to wish a pal Happy Birthday for you, it’ll set you back £10.
FAMILY MAN
Two years after the show, Wagner revealed his then 20-year-old girlfriend Lydia Longville was expecting their first child together.
Wagner told love it! magazine that he was already father to a five year old from a previous relationship, but that they’d become estranged.
He said: “Chances are, I have 20 or 30 years left, but there’s nothing I can do about it.
“If I didn’t do karate, I may as well step into a coffin now, though.”
The couple met in 2010 when one of his former students brought Lydia to one of his gigs.
Wagne, 64, who has been married twice before ruled out marrying for a third time.
He added: “I’ve done my time’, but said they’d stopped using contraception early on in their romance.
“We’d stopped using contraception so it was inevitable, because she’s young and fertile. I’m like a vampire – I only like young blood.”
The TV favourite recently shared a sweet photo with his children as he celebrated Father’s Day.
Wagner regularly shares workout clips and photos as after becoming an avid gym-goer.
The TV star has transformed his physique and showed off the results with plenty of pics of his muscles.
Wagner still keeps fans entertained with his hilarious TikTok videos which has racked up thousands of views.
WAGNER DRAMA
It was the same season that saw contestants such as Cher Lloyd, One Direction and Rebecca Ferguson compete for the winner’s title.
Wagner, who was notoriously known as the oldest finalist, initially didn’t make it to the live shows, but he was later given the wildcard by his mentor Louis Walsh, subsequently joining the Over 28s.
While he put on a fun-filled performance week-to-week, Wagner had several run-ins with his fellow X Factor contestants, prompting him to leave the house that they shared while on the talent show.
He was eliminated in the quarter-final, right after Katie Waissel was booted for accumulating the lowest amount of votes from the British public.
X FACTOR IS AXED
The Celeb Report exclusively revealed last week that Simon Cowell is axing The X Factor after 17 years.
It last aired in 2018 and is now being shelved by Simon Cowell for at least five years.
But sources close to the 61-year-old music mogul believe The X Factor is “unlikely” to return to UK screens.
A representative for ITV confirmed: “There are no current plans for the next series of The X Factor at this stage.”
