SELLING Sunset season 5 aired on Netflix on April 22, 2022, after filming was completed only a few months after the fourth season premiered on Netflix in November 2021.
Fans of the glamorous show are in for a treat as the series has also been renewed for a sixth and seventh season.
When does Selling Sunset season 5 drop on Netflix?
All ten episodes of season five of Selling Sunset were released on Netflix at 3am ET on April 22, 2022.
The previous cast returned for season five, including Christine Quinn whose job position was questioned at the season four finale.
The Celeb Report revealed that Quinn has continued to work for The Oppenheim Group, but the other women in the group have placed her as an outcast.
Heather Rae El Moussa told Netflix’s Tudum site, “I hate that we’re being portrayed as mean girls this season.”

However, reflecting on the way she was treated in season five, Quinn told the outlet, “I think the hardest thing is you’re seen one way, and then people don’t realize that you have feelings. People make mistakes and it’s okay.”
What will happen in season 5 of Selling Sunset?
The teaser trailer for the upcoming season of Selling Sunset seemed to reveal boss Jason Oppenheim fired and replaced Quinn with her nemesis, Emma Hernan.
The new season focuses on the relationship between Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim who broke up in December 2021, after filming concluded.
The pair’s relationship went public in July 2021, when Stause shared a photo showing her enjoying the sun in Capri, Italy with Oppenheim, his twin brother Brett, Mary Fitzgerald, and her husband, Romain Bonnet.
Their breakup was because their “ideas for family [were] ultimately not [..] aligned,” Stause posted on Instagram at the time.
She added, “I very much hope to one day have a family, and decisions I make at this point are with that in mind.”
Fans posted their responses to the new season on social media, commenting on Oppenheim and Stause’s breakup.
One person posted, “I’m watching the new season of Selling Sunset and it’s so weird seeing Chrishell and Jason together lmao.”
Another wrote, “A whole Selling Sunset season of Jason and Chrishell together, I’m gonna throw up.”

Will there be a reunion special?
For the first time on Selling Sunset, there will be a reunion special, E! News reported.
Although a date has not been released for the special, the reunion will be filmed in Los Angeles on April 24, 2022.
