THE restaurant which aims to find ordinary people a love match is back in the new series of First Dates.
Channel 4‘s hit reality dating show has had spin-offs and special themed episodes but the original First Dates will return very soon.
What time is First Dates on TV tonight?
First Dates is back for it’s 19th series and has been on our tellies for almost a decade now.
The show kicks off tonight (July 21, 2022) at 10pm on Channel 4.
Star Cici told the Express that the new series would begin in July with spin off show First Dates Hotel airing in August.
As always, the restaurant will see Maitre d’ Fred Sirieix and his team try to help singletons navigate the nerve-inducing and often hilarious world of dating.

Daters who have been unlucky in love will once again be matched with their perfect partner over a gourmet meal in hopes of love blooming.

Where is the new series of First Dates filmed?
First Dates series 16 launched in brand new Manchester restaurant, The Refinery in 2020.
However it was previously filmed in London in the Paternoster Chop House restaurant in Paternoster Square.
This year the show returns to it’s Manchester home in Spinningfields, where the spin-off show Teen First Dates was also filmed.
First Dates Hotel has been filmed in Castillon-du-Gard, France and Naples, Italy.
What will happen on First Dates season 19?
The dates are always packed with laughs, nerves and dating mishaps so this season won’t be any different.
In the first episode Fleur, a cleaning fanatic from Essex, is set up with Louis – who works as a high end escort.
This differs greatly from dater Ian who works as a gas-fitter while running an art gallery with a champagne bar, will his contradictions be too much for medical lab assistant Michaela?
Comedian Mani is trying to settle down and nursing home owner Natasha could be the one with her quick wit and dry sense of humour.
Love is in the air for self-confessed Nintendo geek Lewis who is worried his love of gaming is disrupting his dating life.
Maybe hairdresser Scott could change Lewis’ dating woes.
There’s plenty of love-lost individuals to get to know as all the background daters on the show are on blind dates too.
The main cast is set to return too, guiding daters in their most nerve-wracked time.
