JAMIE Oliver is back with a brand new show, The Great Cookbook Challenge.

The Channel 4 cookery talent show brings with it a panel of judges which includes Georgina Hayden.

Who is Georgina Hayden?

Georgina is a cook, food writer and stylist from North London.

According to her bio on her website, she grew up above her grandparents’ Greek Cypriot taverna in Tufnell Park, and that is where she developed a love of cooking from the recipes passed down to her.

At university she studied Fine Art after which her passion for food landed her a job as a food writer and stylist on various food magazines.

Georgina then went on to join Jamie Oliver’s food team where she worked for 12 years.

While there she wrote, developed and styled for magazine features, books, television projects and campaigns.

She also wrote her first book, Stirring Slowly, which was published in 2016.

Is Georgina Hayden married and does she have children?

As Georgina is relatively new to the spotlight, not much is known about her private life,

We do know that she is married to a man named Pete who she describes in her blog as the “original nerd”.

It’s not known if Georgina has any children.

What is Georgina famous for?

Georgina also writes a monthly recipe column in Delicious Magazine.

She has also written for other publications such as Waitrose Magazine, Sainsbury’s Magazine, OFM, Guardian Feast and The Telegraph.

She has also appeared on Radio 4 Woman’s Hour and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.

Georgina is also a hit on Instagram and documents her recipes and food travels on @georgiepuddingnpie.

As of 2022 she is starring in Jamie Oliver’s The Great Cookbook Challenge.

Georgina is one of the judges who hopes to find an undiscovered cookery author.

The competition sees all foodies from all walks of life take part – from humble home cooks and unknown chefs, to Instagram food-influencers and street food vendors.

As well as Jamie, she is joined in the panel by food critic Jimi Famurewa, and book publisher Louise Moore.
